John's Wine Cellar started as a blog born out of our passion for English wine. We believe that we have some of the best wines in the world in this country and through our wine cellar we’d like to explore them all and learn more about them and our 400+ vineyards. We are no wine connoisseurs, but we know what we like. We don't use fancy words and posh metaphors when we talk about wine, we prefer to keep it real and tell it as we see it. You don’t have to be a smug culture snob or a viticulturist to appreciate a fine wine.

Shortly after the blog was launched we began to receive e-mails from people saying they couldn't find English wine in their local shops. Always the problem solver, John decided to add a shop to the Atkins Associates' family tree. The launch is planned to late spring/early summer 2009, so watch this space for updates!

We recently launched John's Wine Cellar as a facebook page where, apart from reading about wine, people can add their own tasting notes and discuss different wines on the discussion board. 

In the future, we plan to host wine tasting sessions and organise day trips to English vineyards.
